There are many different training options out there and so many different programs sometimes is hard to figure out where to start. You have different templates to choose from based on common goals but you also have coaches that can help you personally.
Group programs are great if you want to be involved in something, have a community, and just workout. If you want to train (and yes training is different than just working out) then you need a coach to lead you.
Check out 5 reasons you might want to hire a personal coach.

1) If you have specific goals.
Training requires a bit more than a generalized template can offer. You won’t get over the “hump” on a general plan. You need something that focuses on your specific weaknesses.
2) If you need MORE to satisfy your needs.
Do you feel like you need more feedback? Do you feel like you are not doing what you need to do to get where you want to go? Then you need to make a switch to a personal coach to get you there.
3) If you feel worn out and tired.
A lot of time we try to hit our goals but constantly doing more but more is not always better. You might see that your favorite athlete out there is doing A LOT but you don’t see the behind the scene maintenance that goes on. Doing more will lead you down the road of fatigue, over-fatigue, and then eventually overtraining.
4) You need accountability and feedback.
As you continue to grow, your need for specific feedback around your goals grows. If you do not have someone holding you accountable and providing feedback, you will soon slip into training purgatory.
5) Your current program is not specific enough for you and your goals/needs.
Group training has a lot of great benefits but it's not for everyone. If you need something more specific to your goals a personal coach is the answer.
